We recommend .270 caliber or bigger. Only non-lead ammunition is permitted.
Shots can be expected to be up to 400 yards.
Our big game hunts last 5 days (bull elk) or 3 days (cow elk)
All hunts include a guide, transportation while hunting on the ranch lands, packing out, field dressing, skinning and chilling in our walk-in cooler.
Yes, we can have your elk cut and wrapped within 36 hours of harvest.
If you need to sight-in your rifle at the time of your arrival for your hunt, please let us know in advance so we can make use of our shooting range prior to hunt.
Blaze Orange is only required if we are hunting at Fort Hunter Liggett Military Base.

Yes, we do offer lodging. We also offer a camping experience add-on on one of our nearby ranches. In addition, there are a number of hotels located in the neighboring city of Paso Robles, CA.
Lodging and meals can be added at an additional price.

Payment Questions
Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required when booking a hunt.
All deposits are non-refundable and cannot be applied as credit for future hunts after cancelation. These terms also apply when no hunt has been guided or scheduled within twelve (12) after initial deposit has been made.
Yes, you can cancel your hunt. However, your 50% deposit will not be returned and if the cancelation is made within 30 days of your scheduled hunt, an additional 20% will be charged.
